Jeremy Pena Back In Lineup Thursday
2 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Jeremy Pena (illness) is back at shortstop and is hitting sixth in the lineup on Thursday against Washington Nationals left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Pena was under the weather and missed the team's last three games, but he'll return for fantasy managers to face the Nationals on Thursday. He has recorded five hits in his last two games and is hitting .256 (10-for-39) with three doubles, no home runs and no RBI so far in nine games in June. The 25-year-old really impressed in his rookie season in 2022 and has for the most part continued to play well this year, but he hasn't homered since May 28. Overall, he's hitting .252 (62-for-246) with 16 doubles, a triple, eight homers, 26 RBI and six stolen bases in 63 games.
