Jeremy McNichols Will Miss Another Game
3 years agoTennessee Titans running back Jeremy McNichols (concussion) has been ruled out for the second straight game this Sunday against the New England Patriots. With McNichols out in last week's loss to the Houston Texans, Dontrell Hilliard played 63% of the offensive snaps, with D'Onta Foreman and Adrian Peterson both playing exactly 18.5% of the snaps. Peterson has since been released, so Hilliard and Foreman should share the backfield against New England. Hilliard and Foreman both had seven carries last week, but Hilliard had 10 targets (eight catches for 47 yards) compared to only three targets for Peterson and Foreman combined. Foreman will likely serve as the early down back, with Hilliard in the pass-catching role. And with receiver A.J. Brown (chest) out, Hilliard could see even more looks out of the backfield. He'll be in play as an RB3/flex in PPR setups.
