Jerami Grant Blocks Three Shots Against Warriors
6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder power forward Jerami Grant had a solid defensive outing against the defending-champion Golden State Warriors on opening night. He scored seven points on just two-for-seven shooting, but he blocked three shots, had two dimes and hit one three-pointer. With Carmelo Anthony gone, there are minutes to be had for the power forward spot on the Thunder this year. Grant played 30 minutes so it appears he’ll get the lion's share of the opportunity even with Patrick Patterson starting. However, Grant just is not polished enough offensively to be a solid fantasy option. He can be a solid streaming option for blocks in deeper leagues and if he can hit some three’s that could help his value a little bit too. His next game is Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
