Jerad Eickhoff Starting Against Braves Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Mets right-hander Jerad Eickhoff will get the starting nod on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves. The Mets didn't have many choices given their banged-up rotation and the fact they just played a doubleheader on Monday, so Eickhoff will get another start. We would recommend looking elsewhere for a deep sleeper in DFS, as Eickhoff has allowed nine earned runs on 23 hits (six home runs) while walking five and striking out nine in four outings (three starts) over just 16 1/3 innings pitched in his first season in New York. The only reason he keeps getting chances for the Mets is because of how banged up their starting pitching has been this season. It would be wise to avoid the 31-year-old.
