Los Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter pocketed his sixth goal of the campaign in his team's 5-1 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. The 33-year-old also registered a plus-one rating, two shots on goal and a hit in 14:29 of ice time on the night. Like many of his teammates, Carter has seemingly taken a step back offensively so far this season, posting just 15 points (six goals, nine assists) to go along with a minus-ten rating. As a result, fantasy owners are increasingly cutting ties with the Ontario native and he sits at just 51% ownership in Yahoo! leagues. However, Carter has a deep history of scoring goals and his production should be monitored moving forward. If he gets hot, the two-time Stanley Cup winner could be a valuable asset once again.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
