Los Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter provided two assists in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Minnesota, registering his second two-point game of the season. Gabriel Vilardi, Blake Lizotte, and Andreas Athanasiou scored the goals for the Kings, who blew a 3-1 lead in the third period. Carter has had a couple of really poor seasons with only 60 total points in 136 games across the last two campaigns, but he looks set for a big bounce-back year. The Kings take on Colorado next on Tuesday and Thursday. It's been a very favorable matchup for Carter through the years, as he has 14 goals and 20 points in 26 career games against the Avalanche.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
