Jaylen Warren Has Five Touches Thursday Night
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Jaylen Warren only had five touches in the Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night, but he was efficient with his touches. The 23-year-old had 30 yards on his four carries and caught his lone target for a three-yard gain in the 29-17 defeat. What the 5-foot-8, 215-pounder lacks in size, he makes up for in strength and speed. He played just 12 offensive snaps (20 percent), but he looked spry and powerful with the ball in his hands while spelling starter Najee Harris. Warren won't have any standalone fantasy value as long as Harris is healthy, but he's a fine handcuff for Harris owners, and he'd become an immediate plug-and-play option if Harris misses any time this year.
