Detroit Tigers shortstop Javier Baez (undisclosed) exited Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers in the sixth inning. He went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts before being removed. Baez was back in the starting lineup after receiving a standard day off Saturday, facing left-hander Jacob Latz to open the game. He was replaced by left-handed hitter Trey Sweeney when right-hander Luke Jackson entered the game, leading to speculation it may have been a matchup-based decision. However, no official reason has been provided for Báez's removal. Fantasy managers should monitor for updates in case the move was injury-related.--Shaun Albin
