JaVale McGee Blocks Five Shots In Win
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee continued his renaissance season in a win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. He did a bit of everything, with 16 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks, two steals, and an assist in 35 big minutes. McGee has been dynamite this year and an absolute steal relative to his average draft position. He’s averaging 15.5 points-per-game on stellar 63.2 percent shooting. McGee is also leading the association in blocks at 3.3 per-game. With the Lakers so thin at center, nothing should stop McGee from having a solid fantasy season. Although, he probably won't finish in the top-20 like he is right now, anywhere in the top 50 is in the cards for him. The Lakers take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. McGee had a solid game against them on opening night, when he had 13 points, eight boards, and three blocks.
