Jauan Jennings Goes For 31 Yards Thursday Night
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings caught three of his five targets for 31 yards in the 21-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night to clinch the NFC West division. Fantasy managers that rolled with Jennings as their flex in deeper leagues were probably expecting more in the first game with Deebo Samuel (ankle, knee) sidelined, but the 49ers build an early lead and were never really threatened by the Seahawks. Instead, running back Christian McCaffrey picked up the slack and had a season-high 32 touches (26 carries, six receptions). The 25-year-old's five targets were tied for second on the team with tight end George Kittle. Jennings was quiet on this night, but he could fare better in next week's contest against the Washington Commanders.
