Jasson Dominguez Making Pro Debut Monday
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez, MLB Pipeline's No. 24 overall prospect, will make his professional debut on Monday in the Rookie-level circuit of the Florida Complex League. The switch-hitter signed for $5.1 million out of the Dominican Republic nearly two years ago. Dominguez is a five-tool player and is one of the most exciting young prospects at just 18 years old. He is scheduled to hit leadoff while playing center field on Monday. Dominguez is obviously very young and has plenty of time to develop in the Yankees minor league system, but his advanced instincts and skills, combined with his above-average tools, make him a candidate to be a 30-30 player when he reaches the big leagues.
