3 years agoNBC Sports Boston's Tom E. Curran predicts that New England Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham will perform well enough in training camp with second-team repetitions to make the final 53-man roster. Cam Newton won't be in New England for the long haul, so Stidham represents an eventual backup to Mac Jones that has been in the system for three years. Stidham making the roster would likely be bad news for journeyman Brian Hoyer. The 24-year-old Stidham still has some upside, but at best, he'll enter the season as the No. 3 behind Newton and Jones, making him one to avoid in all redraft formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
