Jarren Duran Has Two-Homer Game In The Minors
3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran, MLB's No. 86 prospect, had his third two-home run game and went 2-for-4 with four RBI on Tuesday for Triple-A Worcester. Duran has a career-high 15 home runs in 37 games this year and is batting .282 in his first experience at the Triple-A level. The 24-year-old also has a .372 on-base percentage, .615 slugging percentage and .988 OPS with 33 runs scored, 30 RBI and eight stolen bases in 11 attempts in 37 games for Worcester. Boston's No. 3 prospect has plus-plus speed from the left side of the plate. He swiped 70 bases in 199 games in his first two professional seasons. Now that he's improving at the plate with his power, Duran's combination of power and speed will certainly play at the next level.
