Jared Goff Says He Feels Good
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff (thumb) said he felt good after a second straight day of being limited in practice on Thursday. Goff went through routine warm-up drills, completed short and intermediate throws and did red-zone work with his receivers. His grip looked strong and his passes had their usual velocity. Goff said he's felt "good" taking snaps under center. A couple of screws were put into his right thumb last week, but he doesn't feel them. It sounds like Goff is progressing, but he's listed as questionable for the wild-card game against the Seahawks, and the Rams won't name their starter until Saturday. Goff would be more attractive than backup John Wolford from a fantasy perspective, but neither signal-caller is a very solid fantasy option against a Seahawks Defense that has been very stingy to QBs in the last five weeks.
