Jared Goff Pushing To Play, John Wolford Ready If Needed
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback John Wolford took the majority of the snaps this week at practice and is prepared to play against the Seahawks on Saturday in the wild-card game if Jared Goff (thumb) cannot go, according to sources. Goff has thrown well despite a broken thumb, but head coach Sean McVay still has not made a decision on who will start against Seattle. Goff is pushing to play, but it remains a challenge given the fact that he had surgery just last week to fix a broken and dislocated right thumb. This will be a game-time decision and is a situation for fantasy managers to avoid on wild-card weekend. The Seahawks Defense has also allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing signal-callers in the last five weeks.
