Jamison Crowder Limited In Return To Practice
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder (groin) was removed from the COVID-19 list on Thursday, but he was a limited practice participant in his return due to a groin injury. The groin issue isn't new, but it's unlikely to keep him from making his season debut in Week 2 against the New England Patriots unless he suffers a setback on Friday. Both Crowder and Cole are expected to return this weekend, which is bad news for rookie Elijah Moore, Denzel Mims and Braxton Berrios in New York's receiving corps. The 28-year-old Crowder could be a useful safety blanket for rookie quarterback Zach Wilson out of the slot, but fantasy managers will want to see it before they believe it. Crowder will be a very risky flex option in deeper leagues against New England.
