Jameson Williams Considered Day-To-Day
12 months agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that wide receiver Jameson Williams (ankle) is day-to-day but "nothing significant." Before getting hurt in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Williams caught two of his three targets for a season-high 69 yards and carried the ball once for a six-yard pickup. The 22-year-old isn't dealing with a serious injury and could be ready to play in the Week 18 regular season finale this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. However, with the Lions likely to be locked into the No. 3 seed in the NFC for the postseason, they may elect to rest some starters. Resting a banged-up Williams would make a lot of sense, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect to have him available this weekend. Besides, he hasn't been much of a fantasy asset in his second year in the NFL, catching 24 of his 42 targets for 354 yards and only two TDs in 12 games played.
