James Washington Expects To Be Ready For Training Camp
James Washington (foot) said that he expects to be ready for training camp at the end of July after missing organized team activities and mandatory minicamp this offseason due to a sore foot tendon. Washington was wearing a protective boot on his foot in late May, but he has ditched that and should be ready to go for the regular season, barring setbacks. However, the 26-year-old has missed valuable repetitions with his new team this offseason. He could have a significant role early in the season if Michael Gallup (knee) isn't ready to go, but Washington could also be battling rookie Jalen Tolbert for targets behind No. 1 wideout CeeDee Lamb.
