James Washington Could Return In Week 14
2 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said on Friday that wide receiver James Washington (foot) may be able to make his season debut in Week 14 against the Houston Texans on Sunday. "Based off on Wednesday and Thursday's work, I think he's ready to go," McCarthy said. Washington suffered a fractured right foot in training camp and hasn't played at all in 2022 to this point. If the 26-year-old does return, the Cowboys will likely put him on a strict snap count due to his long layoff. And even when he's fully healthy, he may struggle to get on the field for valuable targets in a receiving corps that includes CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Noah Brown and rookie Jalen Tolbert.
