James McCann's Sluggish Start Continues
James McCann has had a tough go of things so far this season. The defense-first catcher has never been a huge fantasy asset outside of deep AL-only leagues, but his career .244 average and two straight seasons of double-digit home run totals were still serviceable. That hasn't been the case for McCann in 2018, as he has limped out of the gate to hit .147 with no homers and just one extra-base hit. Over the last seven games, he's hitting just .080 with five strikeouts. It goes without saying that he's a catcher to avoid until things get turned all the way around.
