James Conner Gets Seven Touches On Saturday
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner toted the ball six times for 28 yards, while also catching one pass for six yards in Saturday's preseason win over Kansas City. The 24-year-old played the entire first quarter before letting Jaylen Samuels take over. Conner is coming off a breakout season where he took over for Le'Veon Bell. He does carry some injury risk after missing three games in 2018 with an ankle problem, but the coaching staff is trying to get creative to keep the Pitt product fresh. This includes having Samuels on the field at the same time as Conner. He has a high fantasy draft capital with a 1.10 ADP but the potential is there to be a top 5 back in a great offense. If he can stay healthy, the volume will absolutely be plentiful.
