New York Jets safety Jamal Adams has informed the team that he wants to be traded, according to a source. Adams claims he still hasn't received a contract proposal from the Jets that was promised in January and said, "Maybe it's time to move on!" in his Instagram post on Thursday. The All-Pro safety is signed through 2021, but he's made it clear he wants a new contract by the start of the regular season. The Jets have no intention of trading him, but Adams could try to force the team's hand by staging a training camp holdout. New York has him on team-friendly terms -- $3.5 million in 2020 and $9.9 million in 2021 -- so they aren't in any rush to extend him. Sources think Adams is trying to become the highest-paid player on the team, which currently belongs to linebacker C.J. Mosley ($17 million per year).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
