Jalen Hurts Could Play In Week 18
2 years agoIf the Philadelphia Eagles win in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints and clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs, quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) could play in Week 18 against the New York Giants to make sure he's not idle for more than a month heading into their first playoff game. Hurts is doubtful to play this Sunday, but sources said he made significant strides in practice and the team is confident he'll return in the short term. Fantasy managers playing for a title this week won't have the 24-year-old MVP candidate, but if you're still playing for something in Week 18, you may get lucky and get him back. However, there's also a very real possibility that Hurts doesn't even play a full game if he's active in the regular season finale. That's why most fantasy leagues usually end in the second-to-last week of the regular season.
