Jalen Hurts 2021 Outlook: Rushing Floor Makes Him Clear Top-10 Option
Jalen Hurts started and finished just three games as a rookie in 2020, but it was enough of a sample size to showcase his ability as a runner. He averaged 79.3 yards on 12.7 rushing attempts per game in those three games. He also threw for 282.3 yards per game with a total of five passing touchdowns and just two interceptions. He completed just 54.9 percent of his passes in those three games, but fortunately, that won't negatively affect his fantasy production in most league formats. The Eagles traded Carson Wentz and passed on Justin Fields in favor of Heisman-winning wide receiver DeVonta Smith in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. It's clear the team is doing its part to foster the success of Jalen Hurts. Draft him with confidence this season after the top-tier quarterbacks are off the board.
