Jalen Carter Won't Work Out At Combine
2 years agoUniversity of Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter, who is considered one of the top overall players in this year's NFL draft, will not participate in the workout portion of this week's NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis but will do interviews with teams and take a physical. His agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha, told teams that Carter will work out at Georgia's pro day on March 15. Carter is the top overall prospect in the upcoming draft, according to ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. He was a unanimous All-American last year, earned All-SEC first-team honors and was a finalist for the Rotary Lombardi Award as the nation's top lineman. Carter dealt with an ankle injury early in 2022 and also suffered a knee injury in October that caused him to miss two games, but he should still be a top pick in this year's draft.
