2 years agoUniversity of Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter has been among the most discussed players in this year's draft class, and it's widely expected that he will be drafted in the top 10 after meeting with every team that holds picks Nos. 5 through 10 in pre-draft visits. Executives see the Seattle Seahawks as a perfect landing spot at No. 5, and the expectation is that his premier talent on tape will keep him in the top 10 despite his off-the-field concerns. Carter also gained weight this offseason and is facing charges connected to a deadly car crash. But many NFL teams think Carter's talent outweighs the drawbacks, especially if he goes to a strong locker room with a stable culture.
