Detroit Red Wings left wing Jakub Vrana (personal) was back in practice Friday and could soon rejoin the lineup after being reinstated by the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program. Vrana entered the program on Oct. 19 after playing in just two games this season. He has now graduated to the follow-up care phase of his recovery and is eligible to play again. Head coach Derek Lalonde said on Friday that Vrana is considered day-to-day. Getting back a guy who has averaged 0.82 points per game for the team would be a great addition for a side that's ranked only 24th in the league in goals per game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
