Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Jake Muzzin is dealing with discomfort in his back and will miss the start of training camp. It's been projected that he will be available early next week. Muzzin had awful luck with injuries last season and was limited to just 47 regular-season appearances. It wasn't a particularly good year for the veteran as he settled for only 14 points and ended up with a minus-six rating. It's the fewest points he has averaged during the past seven seasons. The 2014 Stanley Cup champion did much better during the postseason, bagging three points in seven games with a plus-four rating.--Taavi Pailk
