Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jake McCabe will be out for six to eight months, the team announced on Monday. The 27-year-old blueliner left Saturday's 3-2 win over New Jersey and has now been diagnosed with injuries to his ACL, MCL, and meniscus in the right knee. McCabe managed three points in 13 games with a plus-two rating before suffering the injury. Henri Jokiharju is set to come in for him on Monday versus the Islanders. The 21-year-old has only one point in 10 games for the Sabres this year with a minus-four rating, but he's a nice puck-mover who has some offensive upside, and he should improve his numbers quite a bit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
