Jake Fraley Makes Opening Day Roster

Seattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley has made the opening day roster. Fraley entered camp as the favorite to be the starter in left field, at least until Jarred Kelenic arrives in the big leagues, but his cold start at the plate made it more likely he would begin 2021 in the minors. Now, thanks to Kyle Lewis's injured list stint to start the year, Fraley has made the team and could be in the opening day starting lineup as Taylor Trammell slides over to center field. Fraley can swipe a base, and could have utility in AL-only and mixed leagues on a short term basis.
