Jai Herbert's debut in the UFC did not go as hoped. Taking on the veteran in Francisco Trinaldo, Herbert was defeated by third-round knockout. Many believed that the bout should have been stopped after Herbert hit the mat after the devastating blow from Trinaldo. Herbert landed the same number of strikes as Trinaldo (37), with 15 targeted at the head.
