Jaguars Release Cody Kessler
6 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars released quarterback Cody Kessler on Thursday, according to league sources. Kessler played in five games for the Jags last year and threw for 709 yards while throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions in 131 attempts. He was hoping to serve as Nick Foles' primary backup in 2019, but now that'll be a competition between Tanner Lee, Gardner Minshew II and Alex McGough. It's not pretty.
