The Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed third-year cornerback Tre Herndon to an undisclosed one-year deal on Friday. Herndon has appeared in 43 games and made 26 starts in his three-year career in Jacksonville. He made the opening day roster in 2018 as an undrafted rookie and played in all 16 games in 2019 and 2020. Herndon had a career-high 76 tackles in 16 games (12 starts) last season and started 14 of 16 games in 2019 while registering 54 tackles, 13 passes defensed and three interceptions.
