Jae Crowder Moves On To Milwaukee
2 years agoVeteran forward Jae Crowder was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday less than 24 hours after the Brooklyn Nets picked him up from Phoenix in the Kevin Durant trade. The Indiana Pacers were also involved in the trade, acquiring Jordan Nwora and Serge Ibaka from Milwaukee, along with two second-round picks. Brooklyn received five second-rounders in the deal. Crowder has so far sat out the whole season while waiting for a suitable team to pick him up and he's finally gotten his wish. The 32-year-old averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals for Phoenix last season as a starter. He will be a nice depth piece for Milwaukee, but will likely struggle to make a big impact in fantasy basketball. Nwora and Ibaka don't have a clear path to consistent minutes in Indiana either and should remain on the waiver wire.
