Vancouver Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom (lower body) allowed just one goal on 22 shots in Wednesday's start against the Anaheim Ducks but he suffered the loss in the 1-0 setback. He didn't appear to show any ill effects of the lower-body injury which forced him out of the lineup earlier in the week. Despite the loss he is still an impressive 21-15-6 with a 2.81 goals-against average and .910 save percentage this season, single-handedly keeping the Canucks squarely in the mix for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.--Daniel Dobish
