Vancouver Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom was the first star in the team's Sunday night win over Dallas, saving 30 of 31 shots to pick up his second consecutive win. The Canucks have struggled mightily for goals recently, which has prevented Markstrom from picking up more wins, but they put four past Kari Lehtonen to extend the Stars' losing streak to eight games. Reid Boucher and Nic Dowd scored on the power play, Jake Virtanen got his fifth of the year and Tyler Motte bagged an empty-netter. The team has some momentum now ahead of a five-game homestand, and Markstrom could add a few more wins before the season is done.--Taavi Pailk
