Colorado Avalanche defenseman Jacob MacDonald will start a two-game suspension with Friday's road outing at Anaheim. The 27-year-old was suspended for an illegal check to the head he delivered to Minnesota's Ryan Hartman in Wednesday's 8-3 loss. MacDonald had just found some offensive flow with four points in five games. He has, however, been irrelevant in fantasy hockey, notching only seven points in 27 games with 46 shots, 28 hits and 26 blocks. With Bowen Byram heading to the COVID-19 list, Colorado is lacking defensive depth, and they brought back Patrik Nemeth from Detroit on Friday for a fourth-round pick. He doesn't carry any fantasy value either.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
