Jacob deGrom Tosses Seven Scoreless Innings
Jacob deGrom was tough to hit during Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals. The 36-year-old posted his best outing of the season with seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out eight batters in the win. Another nice performance by deGrom who is looking more like himself as time goes on. He'll take a 2.12 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and 74/17 K/BB ratio into his next start against the Minnesota Twins. There is always the concern of injury, but when he's healthy, deGrom is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball.
