Jackson Kowar To Meet With A Doctor
9 months agoSeattle Mariners right-hander Jackson Kowar is set to meet with a doctor to check on his arm issues, according to skipper Scott Servais. The 27-year-old has his third Cactus League appearance pushed back on Tuesday due to soreness and it appears the club feels it's necessary to visit with a specialist. The right-hander was acquired from the Braves as part of the trade that sent outfielder Jarred Kelenic to Atlanta this winter. He spent the 2023 season with the Royals where he made his big-league debut and pitched to a 6.43 ERA across 23 relief outings. He also tossed a 5.96 ERA across 30 appearances with Triple-A Omaha. He is competing for a long relief role with the M's in the 2024 season but remains off the fantasy radar.
