Jack Flaherty Transferred To 60-Day Injured List
3 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals moved starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (oblique) to the 60-day injured list on Saturday after claiming right-hander Justin Miller off waivers from the Washington Nationals. Flaherty started playing light catch two weeks ago as he recovers from a left oblique strain that he suffered in late May. Barring any setbacks when he starts to ramp back up, the 25-year-old could return to St. Louis' rotation in late July or early August. He needs to remain stashed in all fantasy formats, as Flaherty was 8-1 with a nice 2.90 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 67/20 K/BB in 62 innings over 11 starts over 62 innings pitched.
