Jack Doyle Downgraded On Thursday
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle (knee) only was able to practice in a limited fashion on Thursday after he was a full participant on Wednesday. It's a downgrade for Doyle in the middle of the week, but at least he was able to stay on the practice field. Doyle leads Colts tight ends this year with 17 receptions on 27 targets, but he's gained just 167 yards compared to Mo Alie-Cox's 211 yards and has scored two fewer touchdowns as well. In this low-volume passing attack, both Alie-Cox and Doyle are nothing more than low-upside, touchdown-dependent TE2 dart throws as they continue to share snaps. If Doyle is unable to play in Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills, Alie-Cox would be slightly more attractive as a TE2 streamer.
