In a season where White Sox manager Rick Renteria has shuffled the ninth inning role, Sunday he went with Jace Fry who struck out two batters over an innning for his first save. Nate Jones pitched Friday and Saturday and got the last two saves for the White Sox. Jones may have been unavailable Sunday which allowed Fry to get the ninth inning. The White Sox don’t win many games and with manager Rick Renteria shuffling up the ninth inning game-by-game, the White Sox closer situation is one to avoid if owners can.
