2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto will start Thursday's game against the New York Mets on the bench. Realmuto will get a breather in a matinee contest after a night game. The All-Star backstop had a down month in May, hitting .228 (18-for-79) with seven doubles, two triples, no home runs, seven RBI and two stolen bases in 24 games played, so fantasy managers will be hoping that he'll get going at the plate again with the calendar flipping to June. Overall, he's slashing .257/.307/.423 with a .730 OPS, three homers, 17 RBI and seven steals in 49 games. Realmuto is still one of the best offensive-minded catchers in the game.
