J.T. Compher Racks Up Four Points
2 years agoColorado Avalanche forward J.T. Compher came through with a big performance on Thursday against Buffalo, posting two goals and two assists in a 6-4 win. His work against the team that drafted him in 2013 included two power-play points. He logged a season-high 22:09 and spent a whopping 7:17 of it with the man advantage. Compher has stepped into a big role, as Colorado recently lost second-line center Evan Rodrigues (lower body) to injury. He entered Thursday having only eight points to his name, but Compher is now in a great spot to quickly grow his tally, with him logging time on the second line and skating with the first power-play unit.
