Seattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford will retreat to the bench for Wednesday's contest at T-Mobile Park against the visiting Boston Red Sox with tough left-hander Garrett Crochet on the bump. Dylan Moore will make the start at the 6 for Seattle and will bat leadoff. Crawford is hitting a strong .294 (72-for-245) on the year but with minimal power (six homers) and speed (five steals) for fantasy managers. He also hasn't been nearly as good against lefties in 2025, going 14-for-68 (.206) with two of his six home runs. Although Moore doesn't have nearly as strong of an average (.234), he gives fantasy managers in deeper leagues slightly more power/speed upside and plenty of positional versatility. He's hit eight homers and stolen nine bases in 145 at-bats and is also hitting .286 with an RBI in seven career at-bats against Crochet.--Keith Hernandez
