J.J. Wetherholt Not Slowing Down at Triple-A
J.J. Wetherholt has continued to perform at a high level since joining Triple-A and is making a strong case to make his MLB debut in the coming weeks. The 22-year-old made his Triple-A debut earlier in July. Through his first 18 games with Memphis, the first-round pick from last year's MLB Draft has posted an elite .338/.420/.706 slash line with five doubles, one triple, six home runs, and two stolen bases. Earlier in the campaign, the West Virginia product opened the season with Double-A and held an impressive .300/.426/.466 line with 14 doubles, seven home runs, and a remarkable .891 OPS. Fantasy managers should consider the shortstop as a high-end prospect to stash for redraft leagues, as he could reach St. Louis before the end of the month.
