J.D. Martinez Blasts Three Home Runs In Return To Action

Boston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez was back in the lineup on Sunday after missing one game due to COVID protocols. He made his presence felt in a big way as the Red Sox capped off a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles. Martinez went 4-for-6 in the game, hitting three home runs while tallying four RBI and four runs. He now has five home runs and a ridiculous 1.083 slugging percentage through eight games on the year. Martinez disappointed fantasy managers last year, leading to a discounted price in drafts this year. So far, he looks like he's returned to his prime form and could be set for a big 2021 season.
