J.A. Happ Gets Yankees Back To Winning Ways
6 years agoNew York Yankees starter J.A. Happ starred as his club snapped a three-game losing streak Thursday night in Toronto. Making his return to the Rogers Centre, where he pitched for the better part of the last seven years, the 36-year-old went seven innings for the first time since April. He allowed just one run on four hits while striking out four. It was Happ's third consecutive start with a victory and fifth out of six, improving his record to 6-3 on the year. With an ERA at 4.48, he's scheduled to make his next start Tuesday night back in New York against the crosstown rival New York Mets.
