5 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Ito Smith was carted off the field in Week 7 against the Rams after being run over and slammed to the turf while trying to block a pass-rusher. It's unclear exactly what Smith's injury is, but he did hit his head hard on the turf when he landed. Consider him questionable to return. Smith had just one carry for seven yards before exiting as Devonta Freeman's backup. If his injury is serious, Brian Hill and rookie Qadree Ollison could see more work in the backfield spelling Freeman.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
