Isiah Pacheco Doing Well After Surgeries
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that running back Isiah Pacheco (hand), who had offseason surgeries to fix a broken bone in his hand and a torn labrum he played most of last season with, is doing well. However, there is no timeline for his return to football activities this early after his surgeries. The Chiefs will likely take it slow for the 24-year-old, who really impressed in his rookie campaign in 2022 with 170 carries for 830 yards and five touchdowns while adding 13 receptions for 130 yards in 17 regular season games (11 starts). Barring a setback, Pacheco should be good to go for Week 1. The return of Jerick McKinnon isn't great for Pacheco, but he should still have a sizeable role in one of the best offense's in football in his sophomore season.
